Google Adsense is by far one of the most popular and lucrative contextual ad network, which provides a good income source for many blogs. There are well-defined terms of service to strictly adhere to when participating in the program.
Adsense is very strict when it comes to it TOS, that’s why you need to make sure you’re following everything by the rule book. A single mistake, and you risk getting banned. We all know, getting Adsense approval is not that easy and we need to do many things to keep our AdSense account active.
Publishers are used to being lectured on the importance of following Google’s policies. Yet so many of them, whether intentionally or not, commit offenses that jeopardize their accounts.
Let’s face it, some contents convert well due to it er0tic and controversial nature..Lol. The amount of eyeballs they naturally garner make it tempting to write about.hahahaha… But since it’s a BIG NO for Google you need not to work on those topics if you want to maintain your Adsense account and make money with their program.
So how do you know if Adsense allows your content or not? Well here’s the list of things to avoid:
- Adult content
- Content that advocates against an individual, group, or organization
- Excessive profanity
- Copyrighted material (more on this later)
- Gambling or casino-related content
- Drug, alcohol, and tobacco-related content
- Sales of promotion of prescription drugs
- Hacking and cracking content
- Sites that offer compensation programs (“pay-to” sites)
- Sites that use Google Brand features
- Violent content
- Weapon-related content
- Counterfeit goods
- Underage, non-consensual, or illegal acts
Also newbies who apply for Google Adsense will get rejected if you have those related terms or contents above on your blog.
I am here to give you a solution to this problem. Finding content on your own site is easy with Google Search. By using the site: search operator in your query, you are instructing Google to return search results only from your blog. You can use this feature to find content that may be in violation of the AdSense policies by following these few steps
==>>> Open Google Search
Type the following query into the Google Search field and click on the Google Search button:
site: your blog url …eg site:gustavtk.com (Don’t forget to change ‘gustavtk.com’ to your own blog url.)
To expand your search it’s advisable to make sure ‘filter explicit results’ is not checked in SafeSearch. You can find the SafeSearch settings in the top right corner of your search results page.
To help find contents that might be violating the AdSense program policies, try adding keywords to your original query. For example: Site:gustavtk.com/dvdrip.
To find adult violations, try using queries like:
Site:your blog url/sex
Site:your blog url/erotic
Site:your blog url/escort
To find copyright violations (such as illegal file-sharing):
Site:your blog url/dvdrip
Site:your blog url/streaming
Site:your blog url/watch free
Sale of prohibited and illegal content
Site:your blog url/tobacco
Site:your blog url/rifle
Site:your blog url/heroin
Gambling:
Site:your blog url/poker
Site:your blog url/blackjack
Site:your blog url/texas hold’em
Note: Use the same method to query list of stop words that Adsense deem contrary to it TOS
You can also use Google Image Search to view pictures that correspond to your query by just typing site: your blog url. This is particularly useful for violations that are more graphic in nature such as adult content. After experimenting with the above examples.
