Since there are billions of websites online, it is obvious that people who are thinking about putting a website of their own on the internet are interested in finding the best host for their enterprise.
With my reviews on Hosting Manual I am trying to give people a chance to see which hosting company they may tie their fortunes up with, in my personal opinion. That said, my recommendations are based solely on my personal experiences with the web hosts.
There is no point in playing pig in a poke and just signing up with any web hosting company regardless of their reputation. The good ones are bound to have a good reputation, and you should be definitely looking for signing up with one of those. That is the main motive why i came out with this post
When you read through my reviews, you can also check the websites of the various hosting companies. Look over their various offerings, their price ranges, etc., before making up your mind to go with one rather than the other.
Let get started…..
1.eHost
With drag-and-drop simplicity and over $200-worth of advertising credits from Google AdWords and paid advertising with Bing and Yahoo!, eHost is the perfect cost-conscious resource to help you launch your website fast.
Their package comes with a free, personalized domain name, as well as connecting unlimited domains and emails to the hosting account.
Like most shared hosting providers, eHost does not limit bandwidth or storage space, so long as your site’s requirements fall within the “normal range,” as sustained by 99.5 percent of their client base. Basically, unless your website is ready to outgrow the shared hosting space entirely, you shouldn’t have a problem.
If you’re a first-time site owner looking for drag-and-drop simplicity, a jump-start on advertising, or just a WordPress-friendly hosting provider to help you launch your online business, eHost is a great host to know.”
2. InMotion Hosting
InMotion Hosting has been providing web hosting services since 2001. They’re so confident that you’ll be satisfied with their service that they offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee.
InMotion, long known for their shared hosting options, entered the WordPress space with a solid option built upon their reputation for great support and reliability. Costing a small premium over other budget-minded options, they do include some nice features.
They offer a wider range of services than most… including shared, dedicated, VPS, and even WordPress-specific hosting — InMotion features a great combination of industry-leading hardware, always-there support, and mass scalability for all hosting needs.
Consistently one of the best shared hosting providers you’ll find. If you don’t mind paying a bit of a premium for great support, excellent hosting, and supreme reliability, InMotion should definitely make the top of your list.
Their customer service and reputation are excellent in the shared space though they are higher priced then other shared hosts. If a little extra speed is worth a few dollars more a month, then they are a good choice for you.
They also offer zero downtime site transfers which makes switching to them or between their hosting plans a breeze.
Regardless of your hosting needs, InMotion seems to have it covered. If you value great hardware and support, all at a reasonable price, we highly recommend InMotion as your next host.”
3. Siteground
We’ve ranked Siteground as our number 3 web host. Not only for their outstanding user satisfaction rating, but also for their long list of features and plans, which can be carefully tailored to suit you.
Founded in 2003 by a group of IT guys, SiteGround has come a long way. They host more than a quarter of a million domains, manage 1,000s of servers across three countries and had an uptime of 99.99%.
They offer the full range of web hosting features, including a free domain and email, Cloudflare CDN, cPanel with SSH access, and unlimited MySQL databases and bandwidth — not to mention their prize-worthy customer support.
4. BlueHost
Founded by Matt Heaton in 1996, BlueHost has long been one of the top, premier shared hosts out there, and they now power over two million websites. With years of experience, competitive pricing, and excellent support, BlueHost is hardly a pick you’ll regret choosing as your first host.
Bluehost aims to make a better hosting experience. And with shared, VPS, and dedicated hosting packages, they’re clearly doing a good job. They’re doing so well in fact that they’re one of the few hosting companies actually recommended by WordPress.
BlueHost has long been a favorite of mine in the shared and WordPress hosting space. They keep their hardware and site updated to modern standards and their customer support is fantastic. For most, their shared hosting options will provide the web presence you need…
Whether you are looking for shared, VPS, or dedicated hosting, you should strongly consider signing up with BlueHost.”
Some of its most potent features include unlimited domain hosting, email and space. It also provides free site builder and templates, free instant setup, unlimited file transfer and anytime money back guarantee.
It is easily available and quite cheap with plans starting from as low as $ 3.95 per month. This makes it one of the top web hosting firms to look forward to in 2016.
5. HostGator
Founded in 2002, hostgator has long been in the hosting industry. With over 90% customer satisfaction and 12,000 servers under management and their consistent reliability, they are one of the largest and most well-known web hosts
HostGator’s simple but robust plans are always a crowd pleaser. With simple, unlimited shared plans and variety of VPS, reseller, and dedicated packages, HostGator always has something for everyone. Known mostly as a shared hosting provider, HostGator still supplies decent dedicated and VPS options if you need your site to…
HostGator costs a little more than some of the other budget-minded shared hosts, but that contributes to their reliability and well-known support. They offer decent features included in their basic offerings, unlimited disk space, a nice control panel, and free website templates. While the feature list is short compared to other hosts, you do get the flexibility to add them as you see fit.
Aimed primarily at the semi-technical user, they require a little more knowledge than beginner-focused web hosts. If you need to host multiple sites, their wide array of offerings make them a great choice.
6. GreenGeeks
Independently owned since 2006 and boasting over 300,000+ websites, California-based GreenGeeks offers top quality hardware while still being the most eco-friendly hosting company in the world. Their shared, reseller, VPS, and dedicated solutions are packed with features and benefits, including money back and up-time guarantees.
7. WP Engine
We absolutely adore WPEngine as a hosting company, but there’s one huge reason we can’t recommend it to everyone: it’s for WordPress users only. If you are a WordPress user, then read on! If not, you’ll want to try one of our other recommendations. If you care enough about your WordPress site — its security, scalability, load time, and uptime — to spend $29 per month on it, then WPEngine should be your web host from here forward. It’s really that simple for beginners to seasoned developers.
While WPEngine’s price tag may scare off newbies, but those who use it will tell you just how impressive (and necessary) WPEngine’s proprietary platform is. Always updated with the latest hardware to maximize server performance.
For newbies, installing a WordPress theme and getting a site up and running couldn’t be easier. For more advanced folks like myself, things like 1-click development staging areas, integration with Git, multiple server locations, CDN compatibility, and a ton of other niceties can’t be beat. These features make that $29 monthly price worthwhile, compared to what the “cheap” hosts give you.”
“Web Hosting Hub is good for sites that will function well on shared hosting in the short- and long-term. Their lack of dedicated and VPS options can make scaling an issue. That being said, they are adequate for small sites that don’t plan on seeing tens of thousands of visitors each month.
What you do get from Web Hosting Hub is a reliable host with solid features, including unlimited storage and bandwidth. You also get access to their website builder and eCommerce cart tool, though if your site catches on, you may look for a bigger host eventually.
Web Hosting Hub is a decent, budget web hosting service. It’s great for first-timers starting a simple blog or creating a small website. If you need to grow, you may need to look elsewhere, but this is a very good option for a simple, affordable website.
A niche site working for small businesses, Web Hosting Hub (the sister site of InMotion) offers shared hosting only.
9. A2 Hosting
Michigan-based A2 Hosting gives users some of the fastest hosting services on the market. Built entirely on SSD drives and constantly tinkering to make servers go even faster, A2 Hosting is the Rolls Royce of the hosting world. And with a 30 day money back guarantee and 24/7 support, it’s clear that they put the customer first.
With the guarantee of 20X times faster WordPress hosting, A2hosting really has some promise. The pricing is clear and simple with no hidden costs or anything. The offers may seem limited in the beginning but the operations and performance leads to quality results.
The USP is their SSD powered servers which really speed up your web hosting and you rarely incur issues of downtime over here.
The support is exhaustive, communicative and transparent. Your issues will be listened to and resolved ASAP here.
10.Dreamhost
Based in Los Angeles, Dream host provides web hosting and domain name registration services. It is completely owned by New Dream Network and was found in 1996 by Dallas Bethune, Josh Jones, Michael Rodriguez and Sage Well.
With 82 % of its clients coming from The United States we can clearly see that it has a considerably greater number of clients and hence market share on a global front. The space and traffic are offered free and in unlimited amounts and it also gives you a perk of a free domain.
It also offers a 97 day money back guarantee in case you are unsatisfied with the services. The portfolio of Dream host is impressive as it amasses over 40000 satisfied clients and over 1.5 million websites.
Other features and services are similar to those of Digital Ocean. With a lot more news expected we should look at it as another top web hosting company of 2016.
