This Duke Energy outage alert feature is available for interested customers to sign up. When registered, you will receive a notification via text, voice message, or by email whenever there is an outage in your area.
You can follow the procedure below to register for this service by texting REG to 57801. You can also text STOP to cancel or visit duke-energy.com/outages/alerts to manage your alerts.

There are systems in place for Duke Energy power outage reporting. You can report a power outage as it happens.
You can report a power outage by simply texting OUT to 57801 or calling 800 228 8485. The Duke Energy mobile app also has an option for reporting a power outage.

After storm
