Bank draft payment

Customers can pay using a one-time bank draft. With this method, the customer must have an online FirstEnergy account. If you don’t have an account yet, you can register for one using this link.

You will be required to enter the following details during payment:

• Bank account holder name
• Bank name
• Bank account number
• Bank routing number
• Type of bank account (checking or savings)

All these details will be saved automatically for future transactions. You have the option to delete them if you want to. You will have to select a payment date and the amount manually.
A confirmation message will be sent to your registered email when you submit your payment.

Note that this method will not work under any of the following conditions:

• Bill is over 30 days past due
• The account is in disconnect status
• The account is identified as a “cash only” account
• Your account is a collective billing account

You must also expect 1 to 3 business days of delay in the deduction of funds from your account.

Credit card payment

The credit card can be used for making payments using the online FirstEnergy account, guest account, or phone call.

No matter which option is convenient, you must note that all payments made between 8:00 am to 8:00 pm from Monday to Friday will be processed on the same day. Any other payment made outside this time range will be processed the next business day within the given time range.

In my personal opinion, this is one of the most tedious FirstEnergy bill pay methods available. I see it this way probably because you will have to move from your location to somewhere else before making your payment. Not forgetting the extra fees charged.

Pay by mail

This particular FirstEnergy Corp bill pay method is the oldest method of collecting the payment. You will simply have to enclose your bill with the return bill stub in the return envelope that comes with your bill and mail it to FirstEnergy Corp. It is very simple huh?
