How to start service with West Penn Power PA
To start service with Western Power, you must be moving to a location within the company’s service range which is West Pennsylvania. This is very important since the company cannot serve outside its service zone.
There are two ways to request service apart from visiting the service center location to request for service. You can request new service installation by phone or by filling out a form on the FirstEnergy website.
If you wish to request for new service via a phone call, then you should call 800-686-0021 after you have met all the requirements. In my personal opinion, requesting service via phone has proven to be the easiest. But filling out the form on FirstEnergy’s website has proven to be the most convenient since you provide every piece of information needed on the go.
West Penn Power online bill pay
Paying your bills is the responsibility of every customer. With West Penn Power PA, you have many options available to make your payments. These options are also the same options used by all the other FirstEnergy Corporation subsidiaries.

West Penn Power PA has two online bill payment methods.
Credit or debit card
This particular method is made possible by KUBRA, a third-party vendor contracted by FirstEnergy to collect payments. This payment option gives you the chance to make a one-time payment with your credit or debit card through your FirstEnergy online account or by phone call.

Direct Debit Payment
This payment method is also made available by a third-party vendor known as Direct Debit Payment Plans. West Penn Power PA customers can use this method for their online payments. You only have to connect your bank account to it and it will collect your payments automatically every month.

Bank draft
This is also an online payment method that West Penn Power PA customers can utilize. You make payments directly from your bank account using you the FirstEnergy online platform.
There are conditions that come with using this particular method. Mostly, it could take from 1 to 3 business days for the payment to be deducted from your account. Under certain circumstances, you might not be able to use this particular online bill pay method. Check below.
